WHO ARE WE?

The Crab Bucket was created me, Bryce Beal, and my best friend, Scott Malin. We are a writer-artist duo who have been making comics together since high school. We are the creators of the comic book series 'Kindred Heavens', 'The Panty Bear', and the character 'Lucia Lancaster.' So, you might be wondering, if we're comic book guys, why did we make a merch website?

Well, the answer's pretty simple. Scott and I have always liked doing things ourselves. Whether it's printing and selling physical comics or promoting Kickstarters, we've always enjoyed the challenge of every aspect of the process of creating, producing, and fulfilling. In 2025, I came to Scott with a plan to begin producing certain types of merch in-house. Namely, stickers. I'd spent a few months researching the process of printing, cutting, and shipping them out, and was confident we could pull it off.

And now, a year later, we both have the same goal: to use what we've learned to help other artists painlessly get merch to their fans. We wanted to create a space where creators can trust that their work is being treated with the same love and respect we would our own.

And that's why we started The Crab Bucket.

WHY DO WE THINK WE CAN DO THIS?

Honestly, awareness. We're not a major operation. We don't have a warehouse or employees. It's just me making and shipping everything. As such, we have a very clear scope in mind and won't ever expand past it because if we do, it's not just us that it hurts, but the artists as well.

WE'VE MANAGED THREE KICKSTARTER CAMPAIGNS...

And while they were fulfilled by our shipping partner, we handled the product acquisition and for every campaign we ensured all orders were shipped earlier than the promised date.

WE'VE RAN THIS STORE FOR NEARLY THREE YEARS...

Originally known as 'bryceandscott.store', we've used this storefront for over three years to ship our own physical graphic novels, plushies, stickers, and other merchandise.
